Nice park for a base to seeing the sights in Nashville. All sites have a wood deck with picnic table. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Opry tickets and transportation available. We just stayed overnight, but would stay again on a return visit.

Return visit. Nice park although close to the interstate and there is some noise. Office staff was very friendly and escort to the site was helpful in getting setup. Nice level site. Plenty of shade but not much grass. Pool was clean and very refreshing after a hot day on the road. Good overnight stopover.

Considering that this is about the only place to stay in the area, not a bad overnight stop. The price was a little excessive considering the lack of shade and that there was no table at our site (several of the long term occupants had appropriated them). What there were plenty of were the fire ants. Office staff seemed indifferent.

Another great stay at one of my favorite stopovers. Love the lake, love the shade, the office staff is great. I just wish there was more grass (rocks are hard on my little dog's feet). Just a great place to stay and relax.

Lovely terraced park. We had a wonderful level site right across from the office. Office staff was most helpful in getting us taken care of considering the park was fully booked. Due to severe weather in the area, we stayed an extra day. Location was very near shopping and also close to the Natchez Trace Parkway. Would stay here again when in the area.

Return visit. Have stayed here several times as this is the nicest park close to West Orlando. New management has made several improvements since my last visit and is making the park better. There are still quite a few long term residents but those are mostly in the back of the park. Great location with shopping across the street. Very friendly office and grounds staff. Stayed here for a week on the Passport America rate.

This pretty much a self serve park. You fill out the paper work, put the cash(only) in the envelope and drop it in a slot. There are no showers or restrooms. You are on tour own to find a space with proper service for your needs. We did have a nice space overlooking the lake with plenty of grass. There are a large number of long term occupants. Easy on and off of the interstate. Really not a bad overnight stop.

This is a nice place for an overnight stop. We stayed the night after a severe storm with heavy rain had come through the area and park management was still working on the cleanup effort. The interior roads were a little tight for a big rig, but not so much as to be impossible. Overall a shady quiet park. The office staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice park in a convenient location near Knoxville. There seemed to be quite a few long term residents, but everything was well managed. No problem with the level terraced spaces. Our space was near the main road (Raccoon Valley Rd.) and there was a little noise, but not overwhelming. The office staff was very friendly. Would stay again if in the area.

This is very nice park for either an overnight or several days stay. Weekends might not be the best time, due to the large number of seasonal sights. The pool was great and a welcome treat after a long day on the road. Showers and toilets were clean. The previous comment about the narrow entrance road is accurate, no way can two rigs get by each other. My disappointment with this park was the lady in the office....she was rude when we checked in (I forgot the license number of my MH) and when I told her we were on our way home from Bristol she complained about that being the reason they were so busy on a Sunday night.."all those NASCAR fans." Still it was a nice stopover.

Friendly staff. There was plenty of shade and the spaces seemed to be very level so setup was no problem. Only problem was that there were no spaces with sewer connections, these seemed to be being used by some long term campers. I would stop here again for an overnight (though it is a little distant from I-65) or for a couple of days. Restrooms and showers were clean and well stocked.

A nice campground with a very friendly staff. We felt very safe as there were about 4 or 5 state troopers that we staying in the park while attending a school in Tallahassee. The biggest problem is that they only have a single shower and restroom each for men and women, and they are very small at that. There was plenty of shade, but the close proximity to a main highway made for lots of traffic noise. I would stay again, but request a space towards the back of the park.

This is one of my favorite stops in southern Illinois. The friendly and helpful staff, nice shaded level campsites, modern clean well stocked showers and rest rooms and a fishing lake....what more could you ask for?

This was a return visit and was pleased with the staff and the park. My only complaint is that the rest rooms and the showers need to be modernized.

This is by far one of the friendliest campgrounds I've been in. The owner lives on site and is there to help you in any way. As far as any noise problem, there just wasn't any other than the laughter from all of us as we sat around swapping stories!! The restrooms and the showers were very clean and well maintained. This is just one of those nice places you find when you aren't really looking. I will definably stay again.

This is simply a fantastic place to stay. From the office staff to the maintenance crew, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The showers and restrooms were kept spotless and the laundry facilities were great. The sites were nice and wide and allowed plenty of room. I camped here for a week and enjoyed the pool and the fishing pond. Even though it is close to I-4, I did not notice any road noise. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This is a nice friendly campground with a helpful staff. Campsite was nice and level with plenty of space between sites The facilities were clean and well stocked. The biggest problem is that I-75 is just across the frontage road and the truckers seem to just love to see how much noise they can make with their "Jake brakes" all night long. Though, after awhile you just tune it out. Still, this is a good overnight stop, after all, the campground can't control the trucks.

Very nice park. Would have been a 10 if there was more grass at the sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. This park is worth the stop if just for the showers!! Very nice facility. Plan to stop again on my way back north.

A nice park for an overnight stop. Sites are rather close together with some shared sites. Plenty of shade and a nice area to walk the dog. It is a long walk to the restrooms and showers. The office staff could have been a little more friendly. All things considered, I would stay here again when in the area.

Very nice park with friendly and helpful staff. Clean restrooms and showers. We camped here for 2 days while visiting the new Lincoln Museum and Library. Would stay here on any visit to the Springfield area in the future.

This is a quaint little park owned and operated by a husband and wife team. The personal service from the enthusiastic owners was fantastic and the welcome gifts of pecans and a Milk-Bone for my dog made me feel that my visit was truly appreciated. A nice place for an overnight stay. And the pool is operating and looks great, although I didn't get a chance to use it.

Arrived after hours with a reservation only to find someone else had already occupied my assigned spot. Ended up with the last pull thru which was right on the main entrance road with traffic coming and going all night. The park is mostly for those who have set up their trailers permanently and they are running everywhere in their golf carts until all hours of the night. The site I had was nothing more than some gravel with a broken down picnic table and a fire ring. Absolutely no grass! I would definitely not stay there again. Can't say anything about the showers and restrooms because I couldn't find any!! Not worth the money.

I agree that this is one of the friendliest campgrounds I've been in. No problem with the noise, honestly didn't notice it. I do agree that the bath facilities could use a little update, but they were clean. The sites are all side by side, so you really get to know your neighbor. Stayed here for 3 days while in town for a wedding and would stay here again when back in the area. The convenience of having shopping and eating establishments, be sure to try the pizza place, right across the street was an added plus.

Great park. Stayed in the new section in the back and would have given it a 10 except that there wasn't much grass. Had a nice level and shady site. Office staff was most helpful and friendly. There is a well stocked store on site. Would stay here again when in the area.
